Ignite Performance ("we," "our," or "us") provides mindset coaching, habit tracking, and athlete development services through our website (igniteperform.com) and our mobile application. We are committed to protecting the privacy of our athletes, parents, and coaches. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

2. Information We Collect

We only collect information necessary to provide our coaching and tracking services:

• Account Information: When you register or when an account is created for you, we collect your name, email address, password hash, and user role (athlete, parent, or coach).
• Check-in and Habit Data: Athlete responses to daily check-in questions, reflections on practices and competitions, habit completion records, wins, challenges, and notes shared with coaches.
• Coaching Communications: Messages, notes, and feedback exchanged between athletes and their designated coaches.
• Device and Technical Information: Standard technical details such as device model, operating system version, and IP address to ensure app stability and secure network connections.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information collected solely to:

• Deliver personalized coaching insights and enable coach review of athlete progress.
• Track athlete consistency and celebrate milestone habits.
• Send local device notifications for optional daily check-in reminders (configured by the user).
• Maintain the security, integrity, and performance of our services.

4. Information Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or monetize your personal information to third parties.

We share information only in the following contexts:

• With Your Assigned Coaches: Check-in responses, habit logs, and athlete reflections are shared with authorized coaches to facilitate direct coaching.
• Service Providers: Trusted cloud infrastructure providers (e.g., AWS for secure hosting and database storage) who process data strictly under our direction and confidentiality terms.
• Legal Requirements: If required by law, subpoena, or to protect the safety and rights of our users.

5. Data Retention & Account Deletion

We retain your account and check-in history for as long as your account remains active or as needed to provide you with coaching continuity. You can delete your account at any time under Profile → Delete account, in the Ignite Performance app or on this website, or by emailing coach@igniteperform.com. Deletion from your profile is immediate and removes your account, check-ins, habits, and messages. For emailed requests, we will permanently delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days of verifying the request. Records of payments are kept for accounting and tax purposes, with your name and email removed.

6. Children's Privacy & Parent Involvement

Our athletic development programs frequently support student-athletes. When working with youth athletes under 18, we encourage parent and guardian involvement and support parental access to athlete progress upon request. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without appropriate parental consent.

7. Security

We implement industry-standard technical measures, including encrypted HTTPS/TLS communication and secure credential handling, to safeguard your personal data against unauthorized access, loss, or alteration.
